I have the Mini that MA sold me with the Elos Mini sump and tank.Thing is too tall imo for that sump creating a cascade of of water from the pipe and it's loud in there.Any way to quiet this water fall effect?

You can buy PVC that fits the return pipe and make the gate valve mod similar to the picture here: http://www.projectbat.com/Aquarium/g4xskimmer.jpg. Easy to do and works great.

I called the company and no technical support.Wow.I'm not the most handy guy around Dom.Plus the neck is leaking.Mind you,Just turned it on for the first time and now I'm stressed.Pump is super loud too.Is it supposed to be that way?
