I have had a lot of trouble with RO water shut off. I had 2 of the Kent marine selonode's and neither worked. Once the float shut of water the RO continue's to make waste water. This has been an issue since October when I filled my tank. Me and a friend took my whole ro unit with valve to his house to see how his was hooked up( he has a 500g reeftank). Everything checked out so I when home and put it back with the unit never shuting down the waste water. I just picked up a new shut off valve form Ice & Water and want to hook it up but there is a in side, out side and two more ports on the bottom.

Anyone ever hook these up with success. Please help.''

Waste water line usually runs for another minute or so after you shut the system, system needs to build pressure to activate the ASOV and shut the water off fully.

my pressure is low only like 50psi because we have a well. Is this why the valve doesnt work?

50 psi is what you want to be keeping the PSI at for RO/DI's.
