Hi MR, I recently picked up an ATB Flowstar 1500 pump and am looking to run it externally. I have added 3/4 PVC to both the intake and output to add 3/4 unions w/valves.
Does anyone run one of these externally? I opened the front impellar housing to do my PVC glueing and noticed the only thing it has is just an o-ring and the housing uses 3 screws. I'm afraid of leaks. Their website has no information on this, please advise if you have one of these or ran one in the past.
