ATI lighting Computer requirements

Could someone that may have a hybrid ati . (led t5) combo tell me what requirements in laptop I need for this unit.
I have a mac now that is not compatible. I will buy a cheap laptop but need to now exactly what options are needed.

Hi I have the ATI Hybrid and it is unfortunate that it only runs on windows as I am a mac guy also.
I just bought a cheep HP laptop just make sure it has a 3.0 USB port.

you can also do the windows on a mac thing but my daughter needed WORD to do homework anyway so we chair

I have a mac pro upstairs and I wanted something I could take down by the tank to hook up to the light module.
