I have silver dollar size pair of Atlantic Spadefish for trade.
They are not exactly reef safe and go after my fan worms.
I am looking to trade them for any LPS , mushrooms, pulsing xenia, or anthelia corals.
I will post pictures later tonight.
I am in Brooklyn, Brighton Beach area.

Yes, they are lovely, swimming together all day and they do have a nice stripe pattern. Also you are correct that they are not exactly reef safe; however they do not bother my gorgonians, mushrooms and zoas, bubble coral polyps and number of different sponges. The only troubled are SPS and my prized fan worms.
One other fact is that in the fish tank they will not grow huge like in the wild. I have seen them in fish tank of my friend in Florida to grow up to the size of large tangs about 6-7 inches. It took 3 years for them to grow this size and he cot them about the same size I have. Definitely you do not want them to be kept in the 30 gallon tank, otherwise I do not see big issue of keeping them in the tank 50 gallons or larger. By the way they eat all frozen and dry food.
With this being said the offer stands - does anyone want to trade?

They are reef safe, but I've been told short lived in captivity due to warm water temperatures. (6 years in wild) They only eat mysis sized pieces of food. No capacity for eating anything else. I've already have them in my reef. The photo above is of my observation tank 2 weeks ago and the below is in the main tank now.
