Was looking at their stuff on their site. Thinking about buying from them since they seem to be the only place that has more than 1 coral i wanted so i can get a few instead of 1 40$ coral with 100$ shipping.

But i heard mixed reviews on the coral that were recieved. Brown corals recieved or some that didn't make the shipping were on the list of bad things.

Can anyone confirm besides posts dated 10+ months ago?

It's been awhile since there's been an organized group buy here

I never had a problem with their LPS and coloration though

As Dean said the LPS where pretty much on, the SPS weren't as close as in some case they were off. The SPS that I received where pretty close to the pictures but they did need some to time to color back up.

Some people have complained about their pictures being photo shopped or enhanced.You can always ask them to send you a picture of the coral that you're interested in. They usually don't enhance quick photos so you'll get a better idea of what the coral will actually look like.


I don't think Joleen is handling the web site sales any more, as Ming usually answers the emails now. I trust him less than Joleen, as she was pretty straight forward with you about the corals.

The corals I got from them definitely did not look anything close to the pictures. I probably won't buy from them again.

If you buy from their wysiwyg section you will be fine. I actually just received a few corals from them in the past few weeks. One frag was no so great but before shipping Ming called me and told me that it (Superman Digi) was from low in the tank and not colored up well, it was not in the wysiswyg section. I decided to have the frag sent anyway and he was right. I spoke with Ming and he told me to let him know how that frag progressed. So, his customer is very good in my opinion. Since then the frag has developed nice color and I'm happy it was shipped. Right now they're offering free shipping with $95 order so you would be better off finding another frag rather than spend the $ on shipping.

yeah a big plus was that everyone said their service was great about the frags, but to know your not getting what was posted. Thanks for the info guys.


Think im gonna place an order from them in a week or two. Ill make sure i call and contact them before i place the order =0)

Last time I bought from Ming was around august last yr .. Some Chalices and SPS.. I was pretty much happy with what I got and yes some SPS are a little pale but after some TLC it came back .
