ATO Malfunction -Help!

Hey. I have a Hydor SmartLevel ATO for a few years now. Since last week it has been beeping and the Alarm LED has been red. But the water level is fine, the sensor is clean, and the pump itself works well. Any idea what can be causing this issue?

perhaps salt creep/water into the controller itself? I believe this is what eventually caused my ATO to fail as it was sitting in an inch of water during a flood. maybe see if you can borrow a control from someone local and see if that's the issue. at least further go down the checklist

sounds like salt creep. your going to have to open the controller and clean it with rubbing alcohol and dip Q-tips and swipe away. if the electronic board doesn't work some sensor or chip on the mother board is toast. You can always purchase one on Amazon and see if that was the case.
