ATO or Refuge?

i cleaned up my cabinet and now have a perfect spot for a 20 gallon tank for either a ato or a refuge which do you guys recommend!?

ATO.. unless you have another spot for it. Really good to have stability there. And it's so much easier than manually adding fresh water every day

What size is ur tank? It's good to have a refugium could also make it a place for frags
But ato is great I use a 5 gal bucket on my 75 gal that lasts me about a week

why not have the best of both worlds, determine how much your evaporation is, and then add another 15-20% more, then divide the tank into 2 sections,

I'd recommend the ATO, because then it actually allows you to be away for a few days without having the pump run dry.
IMO, i wouldn't combine it to be both. The fuge would only be slightly beneficial at 10g, if you get extra space, setup another tank for the fuge, otherwise the ATO gets priority

how do you section it off... and for a nice refuge that would actually be beneficial how big would it have to be for a 120 gallon

also how would the external refuge/ato connect to the sump?

ATO absolutely gets priority when you only have that small a space available.

ATO as well. ATO allows u to go away for a few days. I have a 8 gl rodi container on my 34 solana...although i never fill to capacity, its nice tp have and not worry about. When i go on vacation (which is alot) i have a friend stop by evey 2 days to feed. Very simple and gives great piece of mind....make sure u get a ATO with a double switch, so its has a safety built in.
