ato question

i just hooked up an avast ato. i would like to know if i plug it in to my rke pc4 can i run a float switch to sl1 and have it shut off outlet if sensor fails. this is all very complicated to me. thanks in advance

easy if you run 2 sensors on the sl1 so that you have a back up in case it "ever" goes out.

hi skene, the ato has its own sensor built in for on and off. can i run one float to sl1 for back up. do you program it under controller or alarm?

If you have an SL1 there is no need for a secondary ATO. The SL1 can control the switch and program in one of the outlets for a pump to work off of the switch. Turning on and off when the switch is activated. If you are doing the opposite and using the ATO then a second switch to shut off the power to the ATO unit (provided that it is being powered into the PC4) then yes you can do that also... but it is kind of redundant.
