Attaching ricordea's

Hi I just got a few ric frags and they're not attached to anything. I don't wanna just throw them into the tank cuz I'll probably never see them again. Can anyone tell me if and how I can attach them to a small piece of LR?

I placed mine in a small tupperware in a low flow area.
About 2 days it was attached.




You can also wrap a rubberband around it (loosely).

I was thinking more along the lines of gluing it to a piece of LR with crazy glue gel. Or is this no good?

almost impossible to glue. they just get slimy. do the tupperware thing....

or u can spear it on the bottom with a plastic toothpick to the rock and then in a couple of days once its stuck remove toothpick

...or you can hold it down on the rock with some light netting and,
remove the netting after a few days when it's attached

It is not recommenced to put any adhesive directly on the flesh.


You can place it directly on the sandbed.....when the foot attaches, you can glue that part to a disc or rock.

After floating them, when I was ready to put them in the all have a timy piece of LR on their bottom. I used a drop of gel crazy glue and it worked like a charm. Thanx for the help.:groupflip

Right now I got them corralled with some LR. Hopefully they'll attach themselves quickly.

wrap it with bridal mesh, rubber band, or tooth pick method all work.

I placed mine in a low flow area with the rock he came with. withing a week or two he was attached to a another piece of rock. The rock he came with was on the sand bed.
