Accidentally left alk pump in. Dumper 1 gallon in the tank

I really want pumps instead of dosing manually because I forgot a lot of the times....just missed last night, but then I hear stories like this...I guess I would rather forget to dose than to over dose.....was the hippo tang dead.....couldn't tell if the hippo is laying on the rpck.or swimming by
