I don't know how, but I think one of my fish (thinking clown) has had babies. They look like small tadpoles swimming around in the AGA overflow. I'm sure they would have been eaten by now if they weren't in there. I guess that's the best place for them at this point, because I only have the display tank. What kind of food do I need to feed them? This is amazing to me because I only have one percula clown. There was two, but the male commited suicide a few weeks ago. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I think that the female can go to her local sperm bank for a withdrawal any time she wants (it's inside her) and keep on having babies. My cleaner shrimp are both spawning all the time, and I lost my male 6 months ago (I was told they have both male and female sex organs, but I don't think they are fertilizing each other if they are both carrying eggs). If you can see the frye, they must have grown already, when my yellowtail damsel spawned and I filtered out some of the frye, they were fitting through the holes in a mesh bag. They were about 2 or 3 times the size of copepods, and barely at that. If they've grown in your overflow, they've found food, so I wouldn't worry all that much about adding extra, although some baby brine would do okay or some rotifers.

hey...thanks for the info Dave. I'll have to get that book on Clownfish by Joyce Wilkerson. I hear that it is good.
