baffle question-need some help

i need to get baffles made:

i will be using glass baffles, do i get the glass cut exacty to size?

What I did was figure out my height then took my 30 gallon tank to the glass shop and had them cut to fit the tank. They were slightly smaller(less than 1/16")but silicone will remedy that when you install....

so just slightly smaller and let silicone do the rest... sounds good

the line coming into the sump from the tank should it be attached to something or flow into something to slow flow down: sock, drip tray? i currenlty have a two chamber sump that uses a drip tray...do i need to follow same concept?

i made my baffles 1/4 smaller.i split the difference and made each side 1/8 and siliconed it.remember to have the 2 corners beveled for the bottom part of tank

i can pretend i know what your mean or just ask.....

you need to cut the 2 corners on the bottom part of the glass baffels to fit over the silicone in the sump tank.
