Bermuda Skimmers

What size tank is that on? I am really considering buying a bermuda. Actually this model the BPS-8C...

If I'm not mistaken Chong is running this skimmer on a Awesome 120!!

Anyone else? Anyone running these skimmers on a 155, or larger?

I am really curious this skimmer line, damm I saw Chong last night too, if I would have known, I would have picked his brain. I keep looking on line and can't get any solid info...

I can't get any either and I've spoken to two MR members who ran them and they had nothing nice to say. I imagine that's only a small slice of the people who have bought them and run them. Anyone else have a testimonial?

I am running it on a 120.

I have one running on a 90 and it is great. Easy to tune in and it produces a large amount of skimmate.

any pics? I'd love to see it in action. As I said I haven't heard a lot of good things but that info has come from a small slice of people who actually use them. I'd love to see some real world shots of it in action.

Here are some pics of my BA-3pc after 2 1/2 days of skimming. I have had only 1 other skimmer b4 this one and its much better than my euro-reef 5-3.

I'm not home now, so no pics available, but I can tell you that I've got a Bermuda on my 75, and everything is thriving. the skimmate is dark and thick and everybody's happy in my tank...

I'm satisfied and very happy with my skimmer!

(which, btw, House of Fish masterfully installed for me...)

I have a Bermuda as well on my 120 - and though have no other skimmers to compare it to, it seems to do the job well (judging by the gross skimmate it consistently pulls out of my tank). Pictures look very much like Nancy's!

An aside: I have a pug who expresses his anal glands on whatever he happens to sit on (gag, heave, vomit) - that is the only smell that grosser than the skimmate....

HI guys I have been away for a bit but my 8C is working great. I had it for over a year.

pulls out nasty stinky crap all day. My wife complains about the smell if i don't clean it every 4 days.

I am at work now but I will try to post some pics later today or this weekend.

I skim semi wet/dry - easy to set up to do both wet and dry.

Are they noisy? I need something quiet for the new setup as it is close to the bedroom and i cant have a noisy injector going all night or my wife will kill me.
