Best Before Date on ZeoVit Additives??

Just ordered some additives from Premium Aquatics. They came in today and i noticed that one of the additives has a "best before" date of 8/09 and the others are 3/2010. I called them and they said that ZeoVit told them that you can add 3 to 6 months to the "Best Before" date. They offered to take 20% off the 8/09 and 10% off the 3/2010. They also said that they would exchange them. As everyone knows Zeovit additives are not cheap and adding an expensive and old chemical to the tank doesn't seem to make much sense, as it could be ineffective. Does anyone have any info on this or have been through this situation before? I'm thinking of sending them back. I also noticed that some of the other additives have no "Best Before" date.

I would exchanged them. so much money and why take additional risk?
