Fish Town, definitley all the way. I remember when I started out in the hobby and wanted everything (didnt do enough research). I wanted to get corals and was about to drop $500 dollars, but one of the guys didnt sell me anything because I didnt have the right lighting, how honest is that! They got me caught as a customer after that! Finally got the right lighting and bought corals from Fish Town. Best prices and right now they have 20% off on corals. Check it out.

My favorite's are NY Aquaria, for really nice uncommon SPS. Fishtown, for the best deals on whatever they have for the week. Aquarium Solutions, for a great mix of fish and nice SPS (+ it's very close to me)

By the way Fish Town has these huge (1 foot across) white striped carpet anemones for 24.99!

yeh i seen them yesterday they are huge man they also have nice fire shrimp for 22 bucks i bought 2 and 2 cleaner shrimp 19.99 i like fish town there cheap and some times you can get great deals but you have to go there every couple of days becuase nice stuff is in and out there

Personally I've had good luck with New World on 38th/3rd in Manhattan. Not the cheapest place by any means, but all the live-stock I've bought there so far has survived. All the live-stock I've bought elsewhere (including Fishtown) has perished. I'm not sure I agree with a poster who said that prices are the number one priority. I'd rather pay $40 for a shrimp and have him live, then put down a $20 and see the clean-up crew eat him up! The staff in New World has been very helpful as well.

The other issue is the ability to get to various stores. Since I don't have a car the store has to be easily accessible by transportation and not take me two hours to get there!
