I'm going to purchase two Acan colonies tomorrow, and was wondering the place to put them in my tank. My tank is a mixed reef 120 with Radion LED's.
I know they prefer the lower parts of tanks, but what about water flow? DO they usually like high flow, or lower flow? Direct light, or indirect light?
The reason why I'm asking is because I had two colonies die on me in the last 6 months. All my other corals are doing very well. Any advice wold be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I have 2 pieces are growing in dark places where I didn't think anything could grow, and a 2 that were high and bright. They were all exposed to light in the beginning when I placed them, but now other corals have overgrown and blocked most of their light supply. Been in the shaded area for almost a year now, and they are still growing.
Don't forget to feed them food, that's probably what they are living off of. I grind pellets up into powder and mix into the tank and they will eat pellets directly also. In the photo there are 3 next to each other in the middle under the purple frogspawn. (red, orange and green) The green one was actually placed in the shaded spot as a single head. The red one is the one thats shaded now. The 4th and last piece is barely visible but it's all the way at the lower right corner behind the pink fuzzy coral, on the back side of the rock with the green zoos. You can just make it out, a dark rustly color. (same colony as the orange one, I just split it to see where it can live)
