Best sand...

So far I have tried a few brands and the best 1 so far is ESV fine sand..
THANX HOF.

I've been using the coarse for about a month in one of my tanks and just bought some fine during the HOF group buy for my other. Love the coarse so far, hoping I feel the same about the fine once I have it in the tank!
So far so good!

i got the esv from house 1/2 coarse and 1/2 fine i really wished i would have gotten all fine not to happy about the coarse:banghead: .

The coarse is very nice by itself.

its nice dont get me wrong it is nice but my thing is my nass snail cant seem to burrow.and my cucumber might not be happy ill have to see when i switch him over.

Thanks for the feedback. I like the ESV sand as well. We've got it in all our holding tanks at my place. Some fine and some coarse. Both have their benefits.

Your cukes and snails should have no problem with the coarse sand, at least mine don't--- I have the 50/50 mix too.

D and everyone, thanks for the notes about the sand 0 really nice stuff if you ask me and agree it has different applications or a blend like prattreef did to keep the fine from blowing around. Keep up the good word.

ok good atleast i know that someone out there has a cucumber with the 50/50 mix.i love the look.pratt you inspired me to get the 50/50 cause it looks so great in your setup.Jim thanks for the sand.
