you can also try the elos kits which are also accurate.

once you get a little extra cash you may want to get a meter, some test have meters. ex. hanna phosphate meter.

Depends on budget. Both Salifert and Elos are reliable kits. Elos are about twice as expensive as Salifert. If $$ isn't an issue, I'd go with Elos.
