best way to cut rock

ok i have a large boulder rock i want to cut into half. it has some en-crusted corals i want to keep but rock is bigger than i want, really wanting to basically make into a plate rock. was thinking of getting a concrete blade for my circular saw. anyone ever try this ? or have another suggestion ? ty rick

Maybe dremel a line alone where you want to cut with a diamond wheel blade. Then take a flat head screwdriver and a hammer and hammer away at the line and it should split
