best way to downgrade?

I'm getting ready to move locally in a month or two (damn closings) so anyways I have a 120 mixed reef and I'm thinking how should I keep all my soft corals because when I move I'll have to get rid of my 120 because I'll be upgrading. (On side note I think I didn't have much success with bio plastics and my sps are not looking too good lately.

set up the 120 in your new place until your ready to upgrade. and don't put the 120 where the upgrade will go.

Yeah that's my problem, I figure I can keep everything but the sps and a few tangs. I should prob start cycling the new tank now?

If you have ability to cycle new tank I think that could make your life easier

This aggravates me these stupid pellets, other people may have good luck with them but not me. Skimmer actually works better now they're gone smh

if you could I'd definitely try to cycle the tank using your bio media to force the cycle faster( I cycled my friends tank with my media in 16 days ) then do a tank swap and you should be able to keep everything
