Best way to kill 'live rock"?

My tank has some pieces of live rock that is filled with aiptasia and hair algae.
What is the best method for killing everything on the rock. Is there any method where it may be easier to bring back the rock once it is dead.

you can leave it out in the sun that will kill most if not all of it. then put the rock in a container with bleach water

just dry it in the sun for a week or two then re-cycle it

natural way

i had the same problem recently, i put the lr in a 10 gallon qt tank with a few crabs abd snails and one peppermint shrimp. i put lye on the apatasia and didnt feed or put on lights. in two weeks the rocks were clean
