hello all, i want to use this little setup somehow with saltwater. It will have no light setup, filtration and so on. I will do a water change every 3 days which would take about 5 minutes. I always have ro/di mixed sw on hand. It would be a single species that could handle these conditions. Any suggestions?

Your still going to need some sort of flow.

i do have an extra air stone to use for tank, would that work?

I would use some type of air pump for water moment since that's the only thing you can controller movement. With a power head u will have a hurricane in there.

what do u think would thrive in this little setup, maybe a Bongo shrimp?

Maybe 2-3 sexy shrimps

i could add some small live rock from DT...lol sexy shrimps are in the lead so far...

and would this tank CYCLE with fresh ro/di sw and some LR from the beginning? Going to use the gravel and fake plants.
