Hey all, I saw a Flashlight Fish for sale on a website and began looking into bioluminescence. Does anyone know of a reef safe fish other than the flash light fish? Also upon investigating more some people have bioluminescent bacteria in their sand bed and was wondering if someone here knew where i could find some. Thanks!

I think over a year ago, this guy over at reefcentral or nano-reefs was selling sand with bioluminescent dinoflagellates (tiny plants not bacteria) to people so they can seed their sand.

After reading that article, you would still consider wanting that in your sand??
Not a good thing...run away as fast as you can!

I haven't stated that I would still want it but nevertheless find more info about it.. maybe someone has first hand or second hand experience with it. It would be really interesting to here experiences..

I'm not sure if you know but I have a laser obsession, anything that produces light in interesting ways amazes me...
