Where can I get one besides ebay. MY LFS has one in that he is keeping for himself for future props but I am not that patient.

exoticfish.com?

one thing i don't like about jeff's is the lack of pictures. wysiwyg is a very nice feature (e.g. seacrop and diver's corner/drs.).

i got one from jeff's tho, taking the chance. very touchy coral but very pretty-sometimes very green other times fluorescent. whereas my other sarcos are happy most of the time, that one is very tempermental.

touch it and it starts exuding a defensive chemical. you can actually see the 'vapors' in the water. kinda looks like smoke. actually a decently fast grower other than its sensitivity. it's very soft/slimey btw, not very leathery.

i'm sure there are other sarco species tho but that's the one i got from jeff's. i'm sure they change as the importers' stock change tho.

I talked to Jeff about photos, but he said with his price, there is just not much he can spend on taking individual photo...

Ben, you are talking about green-polyped devil hand right? I think what rcsheng has in mind is not the same as what you are after.

My LFS has those regularly, and it is about $40 for a dime-sized frag.

That's what I was thinking. Again, it was availabe in my LFS (Petown, in LakeForest, CA) for about $40. I used to have a frag, but after keeping it for about 6 months without any noticeable growth, I sold it to a local reefer for $20.
