so i took my kids to brooklyn to see there grandparents in bensonhurst and basking on her porch was a 2 foot iguana..i grabbed him before a cat did and is now a member of our crew..i will post pics when i get a chance

Seriously, Brooklyn in beautiful in every way. It's relaxing, edgy, progressive, not terribly obnoxious, diversity of activities (mmmm food), classy, etc. A place for all ages.

obviously it belonged to someone. i don't think there are wild iguanas in bk.

same thing happened to me when i lived in manhattan. i was walking my dog one morning and all of a sudden the super was yelling. when i went to take a look there was a 2-3 ft iguana chilling on a fence. i took it to the nearest pet store. the owner was looking for it but i had already given it away. it was either that or someone ws bound to kill it.

i took it cause it would not have lived much longer wiuth the cats and now its getting colder.it would have been alot slower in its movement and would have been easy pickens..it now lives in a 55 with plenty of veggies uvb and a kid who loves it..mt son
