I had them when I had a bad light on...
I got them again when it was in sunlight for about a week (had to move it to make room)...
and I got them this morning with my new light WTH is going on... :!:

Its something with the light and silicates.
How can I test for silicates :?: :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

how young is that tank? you are going to have algae blooms in the beginning. it happens to everyone. let it play itself out.
reeftank + impatience = headaches :wink:

Rowaphos doesn't do anything for silcates (which typically drive diatoms).

What is your skimmer doing///wakeitup///and Mr x has a point,and if that dose not work throw the kitchen sink in there,the LFS will like you..

mr_X- tank is 7 months (have not done much).

waymack97- I am getting my maxijet 900 in the mail tomorrow.

Who has used Coralife Silicate remover if you have tell me the pros and cons.

O.K. So I got my maxijet today for water flow, a Silicate remover pack and, my lights are going to be off today and tomorrow. lets see what this does.
Im going to get a small clean up crew some time in a few days.

I'm with Mr X, patience is the key. remember your tank is like a toilet bowel that wont flush. What you put in there, stays.
