it looks like a phosphate bloom but ive never seen this brown gel floating around b4 in any of my tanks nor anytanks ive seen..... any suggestions on how to get rid of it ASAP

seeing that its growing on your sandbed, then im thinking that it could be cyanobacteria, maybe diatoms(but they arent truely gel-like)? a pic would be nice :)

did you recently change the positioning of the powerheads to cause it to kick it out of the sand?
was this "gel" previously in a low flow area?

nope just started growing alllllll over the sand and occationally when i feed the fish or they kick it up its like a orange/brown gel in little balls never saw anything like it b4... just added some phosphate remover to the sump... hoping that will help
