Browned out sps?

Anyone here have any success bringing back color on their SPS corals?Should I toss them or keep trying?

Brown SPS will turn around with proper care. I have done that many a times. Just put them away in the back where you do not see them but they get light and flow. Think you tossed them and you might get a surprise in a few months.

I've colored up a few myself if it has pe still then should color back up

As Sunny and Mattl22 said, yes they can color up again....Any Idea what made them brown up?

Just be patient, the few SPSs I have are coloring up again very slow, In my case was very low nutrients due to no fish in my DT.
I've lost 95% of my SPSs (RTN) and whatever survive are brown up.

Also had few things brown out and just stay that way for over a yr I have 2 encrusted sps right now that haven't grown or shown any improvement so it is frustrating but I'll wait them out

Try to remember what , major change you do , Lights, aggressive PO4 media, aggressive Active Carbon ? Temp. ? change Aqua-scope ? something, but do NOT trow a way. You may add something NEW ?

I had some corals turned white so I lowered my lights and spot fed them oyster eggs and coral frenzy every 2 days now they are coming back to life after 2 months.

I never ever bleach any SPS using Metal H. most bleach was LEDs, on M.H i put in bottom 150 PAR , then more up ,until i got full color.
