Anyone use this stuff before? I received 20lbs and it seems very heavy + dense. Did you guys soak/cure this or just plop it in your tank.
I just did a water change so I have the rock sitting in the discarded water with a powerhead. I also added Microb-lift Nite-out II for the heck of it. Any thoughts are helpful.

Thanks John. Do you think the acid and bleach is necessary?

Rick, I only needed another branch or two to make another high spot to glue frags. I bought more than I needed so I have more shapes to choose from.

I ordered a 125 lbs and asked for the larger 18" and longer show pieces with multiple branches for my cube. I let it sit in a couple of plastic tubes for 6 months of old tank water and kept on changing it out the water every two weeks. I didn't bleach it out.

I just put it in a brute tank with powerhead. Kept on changing water for four weeks and adding nite out and microbe lift.

I then added it to my tank and everything is fine. It has been a week phosphates are 0 on hanna ulr.

Rich your tank was inspiration for this. I wanted a little tonga and I took offline gfo to only have bacteria driven system.
