-DYI 40 Breeder Sump (in the basement)
-ARID E18
-Curve 5 skimmer
-4 Kessel 360ew
-Maxspect XF-150
-Jebao DC-12000 for the return
-2 heaters = 350 watts
-AquaMaxx Star S-1 Calcium Reactor
-Apex to drive the system
~150 lbs of sand
~150 lbs of Dry rock

Start Date: 9/5/2015

here is a list of startup problem so far:

- I have/had a out brake of hair algae but I got the upper hand on that that now.
- The Powder Blue Tang had ick but it was in a QT tank.
-My coral started to bleach out but now the color is coming back ofter lowering my nutrients in the system.
-Now my system has Aiptasia anemones. the Aiptasia must have came in on the shell of a sail. I'm working on a plan now to remove them.

tank update

Here is a long over due tank update after a year of problem. My system is back on track.

Add 2 48" T5s front of the tank and 2 36" T5s in the back. to remove the shadowing form the Kessil 360w .
