its time to replace the atinics in me outer orbit light, Current offers a couple of options, atinic a 460 nw , 460&420 nw and a 420 nw dose any one have experance with these bulbs ? thanks jeff

many manufacturers use these numbers to report their bulbs - brand name would be better to judge by as each manufacturer colors vary.

I like the Actinic Plus bulbs from Geissman - more blue than purple.

Jeff, the Current Outer Orbit comes as a MH fixture with supplemental lighting in either PC or T5 format. Based on what you said in your first post, it appears you've got the MH/PC combo. Since the MH lighting provides your tank with the daylight it needs, I'd go with the 420/460nm bulb. This is the actinic bulb that would supplement your MH daylight bulb with more blue to simulate sunrise/sunset.
