I understand all the downs, Cant see the actual specimen before you buy it, and so on. But there are some things local fish stores around me don't carry in stock.

What is the best website to buy corals/inverts online?

I was looking at saltwaterfish.com but IDK...

There are number of places where you can see the corals and they're very good at shipping. Live Aquaria Diver Den is one. Blue Zoo's is another one. ThatPetPlace and Pet Solutions are also pretty good, though they don't usually have pictures of what they have, though I have ask ThatPetPlace for pictures and they have supplied them to me.

Also there are some vendors on ebay that are very good at shipping, and you can see what you're getting, though most places do photo shop.

The biggest problem, outside of shipping in the cold and hot months, is dealing with UPS,FedEx and USPS. Anything can and usually does happen.

Many LFS's will order something that you want that they don't currently stock or have in stock. Always worth asking or placing a Want To Buy thread in our Marketplace as the vendors here do look at those threads.
