Hello everyone I need some advice as to,calcium reactors. I've been doing reefs for over 15 years and always manually dosed pedalow, baking soda and Epsom salt and those that have seen my tank are always amazed. I decided to try a calcium reactor this year got me a korallin rated for up to 400 gallons I got the drip and bubble rate going pretty good. My 2 questions r how can I prevent air from building up inside and eventually stopping the flow is there a way to modify this I was thinking it has a valve to let out the air when u fill it up can I put tubing onto it and leave the valve very closed but open enough to do like 1 drip a minute is there any other hacks for this it's annoying about 6 times already this month. Second question I run like maybe 6 pounds of carbon in a reactor on my 180 that was never a problem tanks doing great but after I installed the reactor I've been noticing a lot of dust looking like carbon deposits everywhere to the point that I turned of my carbon reactor and now I don't c it anymore does the carbon reactor break down the carbon to dust is there anything I can do about this thanks everyone for the advice.
