My TDS meter, a WP-2000, calls for 500 PPM calibration Fluid. I can't seem to find any anywhere.

Anybody got any idea where to get this?

My meter is at least four years old and it has never been calibrated. I think it's time.

I can't find the 500 PPM solution anywhere.

Can I just buy the 800 PPM solution and calibrate to that?

Depends on the meter, you may have to use the 500 ppm solution and nothing else. Call the manufacturer and ask them if they sell the 500 ppm solution, or recommand you one. I doubt that you need to mix one up yourself.

Off topics, but I have ran into a batch or two of bad calibration fluids in this hobby. For laboratory usage, most people mix it themself, or use NIST traceable standard calibration fluid.
