I was gonna get a mantis, but I can't find any here (I live in Phoenix)

But we *did* get a reef lobster and he's pretty cool :)

Shame about the mantis board...I don't think it had any new posts for quite some time though.

I lived in Phoenix most of my life..we've talked about that...I asked where you graduated from  .... I got mine from flseagull (a member here and havent seen him here in quite sometime now) ive had my mantis over a year now...Such intelligent creatures...My observations tell me they are highly intelligent for inverts and very calculating..mine even cohabitates with a percula clown a sea urching and a choco starfish and a very small brittle star (green i think but its still to small to determine)..But my LFS can special order O. Scyllarus (peacocks mantis)..they go, last i checked, for about 50 bucks...kinda high but you know if you cant find one. also maybe browsing www.grimreefers.com you might find someone who can get one if you're that interested :D

The forum was merged with this one because of lack of activity in the Mantis forum.
