Can a Sea Hare Wipe out your reef tank?

Can a dead sea hare kill all your coral but not your fish?
I thought it was the other way around... I thought the fish
Would die and the coral would be fine?

As far as I understand it will not affect your coral but can definitely kill your fish depending on how big your tank?
The corals will close up a bit for a little while but do a water change and they should be ok

I had one die on me, it did nothing to the tank. I noticed it was dead the next morning. I guess as long as it doesn't get shredded up by a powerhead it shouldn't cause any damage.

Are you having lots of hair algae issues?

When Mine died the ph dropped and all the coral closed up
How big is your tank?
Im not having a hair algae issue just keep as maint and the kids love it
