My Current tank (65 gallon) has 2 x 250w Iwasaki's, and 2 55w pc's. I plan on moving the lights to my 125, and adding another MH if the acrylic will permit. Depends on the heat. The 65 is going to a friend, I will probably have a smaller tank to put it in if I need to, but he is one of my favs, so I duno. I was thinking of getting a Blue Maxima.

I was thinking about getting a clam in my tank, but I am not sure if the fish will pick at it.

My fish in the tank are:
Regal Tang
LemonPeel
Zebra stripe Damsel
Flame Angel

I plan on moving to a 125 next month, so the clam will be after that. My most concern is the Lemonpeel, because he killed my yellow polyps. The other fish have yet to eat any of my corals.

I too would be concerned about the lemon peel with a clam, do you have another tank to put the LP in just incase it wants to pick? And What about your lighting, you mentioned nothing about that, with clams lighting and water quality are very important.

Oh yea, what type of clam were you thinking about getting?

well, first of all, i think its amazing the flame hasnt touched anything, or the lemonpeel. and that you can keep them together. also, your lighting is great for both tanks, but i decided not to get a lemonpeel, or any other angel, because thye may not now, but eventually they will change. my lfs has a flame in thier 65 reef, only because they don have anything in it for him to pick on. If i were you, make a decision on the clam or lemonpeel, cause you SHOULDNT keep both. dont get a clam to test it out, because they cost so much, and once its bruised, its hard to get it back to full life again.

If you realy want a clam get rid of the 2 pygmy angels and get a small squamosa or dersea for a starter, make sure you calcium and alk levels are all okay and make sure their byssal gland is not torn.
