Can I use drain hose on my return line?

Hey guys. Space in my sump is real tight , I was considering using drain hose for my return line. Can it be used for that purpose?

Why? You could always use the packed adapter with flex hose? Most people don't use it because they will pvc their setups.

It's harder to get that water sealed as pressure is being pushed into the bulkhead. Going in reverse it won't try to go through any openings just straight down unless there is a clog.

Plus what return pump are you going to use for it?

These hoses are best for drain only. You will cut down flow alot due to all those grooves and best thing to use is flex pvc if you are looking for flexiblity....IMO
