By feed line you mean the line from the return pump? Yes, this is common practice. I would have two separate valves for your gfo and carbon though as they should tumble at different rates.

Paulez thanks for the info but am talking bout the line that feeds the sump not the return line.

No, you wont be able to feed reactors with the drain line. You can definitely do it with your return tho, as stated above

What size tank, sump and overflow are you using?

75gal build in overflow,sump/ref being built custom for the tank by custom king

A mag 7 is time as a stand alone return pump but if you wanna run a reactor or two, I'd go with a 9.5 or similar gph

They don't make a 9..it's a 9.5.
