i was looking into getting a 75 rimless and see that they are framed around the bottom. i mean it would make sense that the bottom would be better reinforced (silicone around the entire perimeter) than the top because the top is empty. so if the bottom frame were to be removed would it cause any structural issues?
Can the bottom frame be removed from a rimmless tank?

It is on the tank for a reason , can a human walk without a spine ? It's part of its support system , not adviseable to remove that!!! But if you do please let me know how it worked out for ya!!
