can two different zoanthid colonies touch each other? i think they are the same species or very similiar but different colors. mine are growing close together now.

I had some more vigerous growers outcompete some less robust zoas, but nothing to combatitive!

I've got a couple of mixed color morph zoas on rocks that are battling it out for space right now.

'Course, I already fragged off the color morphs I wanted to make sure survived too. :P


One of mine look like they're taking the tactic of reaching up higher and therefore blocking the light to the other.. - The shorter of the two seem to be good at forming a nice tight, thick mat.. - Time will tell who wins I suppose. :lol:
