Some people certainly do, but I don't think the answer is the same for every type of coral. I used to FW dip zoa colonies, to get rid of zoa-eating nudibranches, but I seem to remember hearing that a FW dip would be damaging for some SPS, like Acropora.

I'm going to be using multi-step dips consisting of:
Flatworm Exit (FWE)
Tropic Marin Pro-Coral Cure (TMPCC)
and TLF's ReVive

I may use Interceptor if I can find it, though people say ReVive kills red bugs too.

Thats a good combo Len, and what I would usually do. Just remember the revive dip is only a few minutes, the TMPCC is 15, and the interceptor is hours. It would be easier if we could just mix it all together lol. I have fresh water dipped many corals but in general it is best for softies. You should temp and pH balance the water first, then dip for just a few minutes. I used it many times to kill of protazoan infetions in leathers and as Tom suggested cleaning nudis off of zoas.
