canopy question

i built my canopy today , it will hol;d 4 t5's might add the other 2 also but was thinking of wrapping inside of canopy with aluminum foil so i get all reflection inside. or to put a mirror on top. the aluminum would be easier and cheaper wondering if anyone has done this or has some type of reflector other than the one's that came with light. i have the one's that came with t5 retro kit but i know some light escapes these. any thoughts ? ty rick

Each t5 needs it's own reflector, Ice cap makes one of the best sets of reflectors.

i have all the reflector's for the bulbs , but was thinking of lacing the inside of the canopy with a reflective material also

Paint it gloss white with good exterior paint. aluminum foil does not reflect light as well.

or was thinking of a mirror top in glass or plexiglass. not definate on anything but tossing idea's glass would be kinda heavy. plexiglass always a possibility of melting or discoloration. i have a temp speed controlled fan set,up in hood

White paint is probably going to reflect more light than the mirror. When the mirror has to reflect light, some light is lost due to the light having to travel through the glass twice...at least thats what i heard..
