Carpet anemome almost meets wavemaker

Does anyone know a way to try and move a carpet anemome safely?

You can try aiming a power head at the foot and see if it releases for you. Also I've heard of people using ice on the foot to get them to release.

From that pic it looks like its only attached to the glass if so you should n
Be able to slide your fingers under it and gently get it of the glass.

Sounds good. Does a carpet like a rock better? It was fine for weeks on the bottom and then just started climbing

they usuallu will bury in the sand and pending species foot will go up under a rock, what lighting are you using, and id turn power head down, hate to lose such a beauty to a powerhead

if you EVER need to get its foot unstuck. use a credit card but be very gental you can hurt it. and its a lovely carpet you got there wish you the best and hope it doesn't go near that fan again!

My carpets usually buried their foot in the sand. They like room! So if they can open with no obstruction like rock it probably will not move. Nice carpet!

That's probably why it moved because it did bury its foot to bott of glass but he was up against a rock. I may have re arrange some rocks.

Too much flow. Haddonis prefer low flow.

Wolverine is going in the right direction with open space, you can acheive that by building a cove or area that the anemone can be sheilded from flow.

But before you do that cover that mp40 or you will one day come home to it in the pump.

Anemones and open grate pumps dont mix
