Just a word of conservation.

Carpet anemonies at the size we get them in the hobby are far older then you and I combined (possialby hundreds of years old). They're very old and don't breed that quickly. They are one anemonies best left to live on the reef. Belive it or not, our hobby has greatly contributed to the declining populations. Some divers in PI and Indo have reported going several divers with no sign of anemonies while just a 10 years ago the same areas where anemone fields.

Yup, that's why my new one is a bud about 3" in diameter. :)

Beautiful anemone. If it attached to a rock already, than leave it be.
