cc and live sand???

Hello people! I have a question, i was wondering what were the pros and cons of using live sand and cc as a bed versus just sand or cc???? :scratchch

All sand will become "live sand" over time. Pre-packaged "live sand" already has a colony of live bacteria (which is what makes it "live").

I personally started my tank with regular sand and added a cup of sand from a mature tank to "seed" it.
