Chemiclean tank issue with Skimmer

Hello

I have a big issue i added chemiclean to the aquarium and no i cant get the skimmer to stop going crazy. The freeking thing keeps overflowwing for the past 2 weeks. I already did 2 water changes and nothing please help me out.

It's normal for it to freak out but 2 weeks is a long time. Adjust your skimmer as dry as possible, run a bunch of carbon, change/clean any sponges or filter socks that many trap the product. IMO next time you get cyano try special blend bacteria. It removes cyano by eliminating the cause. It's actually not a bad idea to dose this ASAP as you killed off a lot of nitrifying bacteria with the chemiclean.

You have to raise the skimmer up till it stops overflowing. Once it can start to skim out the med, it will drop back down to normal in a day or so.

SO a little update, yesterday i cam home and the skimmer has been running, and guess what its back to normal i have my Vertext Omega 150 back. This thing is a beast.
