Chrysiptera talboti, Talbot's Damsel

Looking to hear anybody's experiences with these in groups, especially numbers and tank size. Are they aggressive, compared to say C. parasema?

Really loving the look of them. Sometimes to find new-to-me fish I have to look at the really common $3 ones that nobody wants!

I remember the first time I saw a shipment of those fish, I loved 'em. Never had a chance to keep any, though. I think something's written about them on WWM.

Bob says they tend to be solitary, I don't remember seeing Talbot's on any dive I've done.

I had a single specimen years ago Matt, although it's been so long I don't know how much help. I seem to remember he was on the mellow side, but he was in with a Passer, and Rhinecanthus, etc. I can't comment on their intraspecific behavior. Neat little fish.

they behave the same as Rollands - ok together if there are other fish, without dither fish they kill each other. If we hold them here in a tank with Red Firefish or cardinals they're fine...without not so much.

Sounds pretty much like what Bob Fenner says on his site--best kept singly, or if in any numbers in large tanks, don't school, tend to be solitary in the wild.

I wish I could find a fabric with the Talbot's colors, it's that pretty. As a matter of fact, if I had my old glass boxes and equipment, a nano with a Talbot's would be cool enough for me. I've just been scratching my head trying to figure out why I've never seen them diving, because I believe I've dived within their range.
