cleaning skimmers

how often should i clean my skimmer and how should i do this????????

my skimmer was skimming about 800ml every three to four days now not even 200ml a week wasssupp with that is that the normal time to clean?

At the least, I would clean the skimmer per the manufacturer's recommendations. More often when there's a drop-off in performance. Check the website of the skimmer's manufacturer for details.
